Performance in-situ dans l'ancienne usine du secteur automobile Praga datant de la Première République tchécoslovaque, aujourd'hui Pragovka Art District (le 18.9. 2021 à Prague).

Plus de trois ans d'intérêt pour le site de l'ancienne usine ont abouti à une performance contextuelle dans l'espace de l'ancienne cantine de Pragovka. Ce n'est pas un hasard si Catherine choisi d'intervenir dans un lieu qui, outre sa fonction de cantine d'usine, remplissait également une fonction culturelle et d'activisme politique (n'oublions pas qu'après 1989, elle a cessé de remplir cette fonction). Depuis la scène, l'artiste a livré un texte qui s'appuie sur des recherches menées depuis 2018, mêlant hardiment faits et fiction, des scènes du futur, du présent et de versions différentes et plausibles du passé dans un réalisme magique, ou si vous préférez, mystificateur, de l'écho de l'après demain. Les lapins prennent le rôle des salamandres, et bien que certaines données soient absolument correctes, nous exporterons du dioxyde de carbone à l'avenir. L'impulsion pour ce spectacle est venue d'un ticket déjéuner que l'artiste a trouvé dans le Hall 19, construit selon le plan de l'architecture nazi, après la guerre, par le régime communiste, et aujourd'hui classé monument historique. La présentation scénique avec la disposition des tables avec des bougies en forme de cheminée également encore présente sur site, a conduit les spectateurs à la cérémonie d'un dîner, pour être ensuite trompés, car aucun dîner n'a eu lieu, tout comme le/la propriétaire du ticket de déjeuner trouvé n'a jamais pu le consomer. More than three years of interest in the site of the former factory have resulted in a contextual performance in the space of the former Pragovka canteen. It is no coincidence that Cathe- rine choses to intervene in a place that, in addition to its function as a factory canteen, also fulfilled a cultural and political activist function (let us not forget that after 1989 it ceased to fulfil this function). From the stage, the artist has delivered a text based on research conducted since 2018, boldly mixing fact and fiction, scenes from the future, the present and different plausible versions of the past in a magical, or if you prefer, mystifying realism of the echo of the after tomorrow. The rabbits take the role of salamanders, and although some of the data is absolutely correct, we will be exporting carbon dioxide in the future. The impulse for this show came from a lunch ticket that the artist found in theHall 19, which was built according to the Nazi architectural plan after the war by the communist regime and is now a cultural heritage. The scenic presentation with the arrangement of tables with candles in the shape of the water chemney, also still present on site, led the spectators to the ceremony of a dinner, only to be deceived, as no dinner took place, just as the owner of the found lunch ticket was never able to consume it.
